The Korea National Tourism Organization and the Geumsan Insam (Ginseng) festival invites you and your family to an exotic and fascinating health trip.
The Geumsan Insam Festival is a health festival aimed at promoting Geumsan’s traditional culture as well as the marvelous efficacies of Insam (ginseng) and other herbs. The 24th Geumsan Insam Festival will create a festival of harmony featuring a variety of hands-on events stimulating all five senses, which will espouse the themes of “Health, Smiles, and Hope.”
Korean Ginseng, recognized around the world for the highest quality, is made in Geumsan. Geumsan is the home of “Goryeo Ginseng” and eighty percent of Korea’s supply comes from here.
Main Events:
International ginseng trade fair, ginseng and herb cooking contest, ginseng harvest trip, souvenir ginseng bottle making, traditional ginseng production process demonstration, traditional folk performances.
