Pop/hip-hop music & dance sensation SAVVY to perform live at Livingston Mall and Ocean County Mall August 27th & 28th.
Savvy to heat up Livingston and Tom's River with a live music and dance performance and DVD screening during “Feeling Groovy” National Mall Tour Presented by Radio Disney and Sam Goody.
WHAT: Savvy, the nation’s hottest, new, high-energy pop/hip-hop music and dance sensation, will appear live at Livingston Mall and Ocean County Mall as part of Simon Brand Ventures’ “Feeling Groovy” national mall tour. Presented by Radio Disney and Sam Goody, the eagerly awaited “Feeling Groovy” tour promotes “healthy life choices” among kids and families through a variety of activities including music and dance. The tour will visit 88 malls across the country from late July through late September 2005, with eagerly-anticipated, live Savvy concert performances at 16 mall locations.
Having recently exploded onto the music scene, SavvyÂ’s mission is to present pop music with clean, wholesome lyrics and fun messages, while entertaining audiences with the latest hip-hop, dance moves. Savvy members include four girls and four boys from Texas, aged 8 to 16, who incorporate mainstream choreography, catchy songs, outgoing personalities and cultural diversity.
In addition to promoting “Road To Fame,” Savvy also will be promoting their brand new instructional dance/concert DVD “Every Body Moves,” which encourages kids to exercise through positive music and the latest hip-hop moves. Road To Fame and “Every Body Moves” will be available exclusively at nationwide Sam Goody and Suncoast stores beginning July 30.
WHEN: Saturday, August 27th & Sunday, August 28th - Shows are held from 11 p. m. to 4 p. m. and SAVVY will appear at 11, noon, 1, 2 and 3 p. m. for a 20 min. show. There will be an autograph signing after each session.
