State of Montana Brings Much More than Just “SOME Info” to 13,000 Employees with Enwisen’s AnswerSource Knowledge Center

State of Montana Brings Much More than Just “SOME Info” to 13,000 Employees with Enwisen’s AnswerSource Knowledge Center

“SOME Info” portal allows employees to manage the entire range of “hire-to-retire” work/life events with 24x7 access to personalized, searchable communications and decision support.

Novato, CA (PRWEB) June 7, 2007

Enwisen, the leader in on-demand workforce communications solutions, today announced that the State of Montana has brought live a new, dynamic employee portal based on the integration of PeopleSoft self-service solutions and Enwisen’s AnswerSource Knowledge Center -- a comprehensive suite of “hire-to-retire” workforce communications and decision support applications. The State of Montana Employee Info (“SOME Info”) portal went live on May 22.

Randy Morris, the Project Leader for the State’s Personnel Division, is very excited about the “go live” milestone, commenting, “At the State of Montana, Human Resources wanted to help our 13,000 employees -- and almost 6,000 retirees -- efficiently and effectively manage their HR, policy, work/life and compensation/benefits issues. We began by deploying self-service solutions with PeopleSoft 8.9, but understood that this would provide for self-service transactions only.

“To ensure 100% true self-service, and maximize the effectiveness of our self-service initiatives, we integrated on-demand workforce communications and decision support from Enwisen -- resulting in a searchable and personalized employee experience via ‘content-in-context’ transactions accessed 24x7, from work or home, on our dynamic ‘SOME Info’ portal.”

The State of Montana chose Enwisen’s AnswerSource Knowledge Center after a very competitive evaluation of several vendors. Enwisen was selected for its comprehensive integration with PeopleSoft and PeopleSoft Certified Partnership, the breadth of its offering, cost-effectiveness and most important, the high satisfaction level among its customer base.

“The State of Montana has truly embraced the Enwisen value proposition of improving the employee experience by integrating transactions with content -- creating a dynamic employee portal that is easy-to-use, accessible and effective. They are visionaries in leveraging technology to improve service and communication to their workforce,” said Barbara Levin, Enwisen’s Vice President of Marketing.

The early results at State of Montana have been excellent according to Morris. “We had more than 3,500 people view more than 13,000 pages of ‘SOME Info’ within just days of going live, and expect this to rise substantially as we approach open enrollment in the Fall. And, we are meeting our goal of ensuring members of our current and retired workforce can complete events start-to-finish -- without having to stop midway to call someone for the information needed to complete a transaction. In other words, attaining the efficiencies of a call center but within a self-service mode,” concluded Morris.

Renewed Hope for the Success of Biologics

Renewed Hope for the Success of Biologics

(PRWEB) July 12, 2003

Novel biologics appear to be going from strength to strength. New indication approvals and positive clinical trial results are being published at an alarming rate, which is certainly good news for pharma/biotech companies and patients alike.

After a string of clinical development failures and approval problems, it seems that novel biologics are now beginning to show their true therapeutic potential. This is an exciting time for drug developers and can bring hope to a significant number of patients who have found that traditional therapies just do not do the job for their specific needs.

The recent approval of Humira (Abbott) was heralded as a major advance in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). The company believes that their drug has ‘blockbuster’ potential and anticipates it to be one of their major revenue generators. And it certainly appears to be on the right course. In the first three months of being on the US market, the drug generated $24 million in revenues, exceeding company expectations and threatening competing products, such as Enbrel and Remicade.

Abbott now believes that sales of the drug in 2003 may reach $250 million, a substantial achievement in the initial launch year. Furthermore, new clinical data has shown that Humira is not only effective in late stage RA, but is also effective in the early stages of the disease, and can inhibit the progression of structural damage associated with rheumatoid arthritis.

Such data could not only increase product uptake, will also widen the target population that may benefit from such treatment. Good news for Abbott.

Roche Pharma is another major global corporation experiencing positive results with their MAb pipeline. Roche, in conjunction with IDEC Pharmaceuticals are experiencing positive clinical results with MabThera. This MAb, originally developed for the treatment of B cell lymphoma has begun pivotal phase IIb and III studies in RA after encouraging phase IIa results were released in June 2003.

The 161 patient trial revealed that a short induction regimen of MabThera, either alone or in combination with methotrexate resulted in a better disease response than with methotrexate alone. The side effect profile was also positive.

The company is forging on with late stage trials, incorporating patients who have shown limited response to anti-TNF therapies and those with inadequate responses to disease modifying anti rheumatic drugs (DMARD).

MabThera, currently RocheÂ’s major revenue generator could prove to be a strong competitor in the RA field. ItÂ’s different mechanism of action to tumour necrosis factor (TNF) inhibitors, that is the depletion of B cells, may prove advantages and offer an alternative and possibly more effective therapy option.

Amgen is also experiencing a strong start to 2003. Enbrel, the companyÂ’s TNF antagonist continues to generate significant revenues, and this trend is predicted to continue in the future. Enbrel is now indicated for rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis and has recently been approval in the US for ankylosing spondylitis, the first biological agent to gain this indication. This, in combination with the likelihood of further license expansion, will result in continued revenue growth from Enbrel.

And finally, Genentech also has something to celebrate, with the long awaited approval of Xolair, for the treatment of moderate to severe asthma. This has been an uphill struggle for Genentech, and for Novartis, itÂ’s partner for this project, with regulatory bodies demanding extensive additional clinical data.

However, the hard work and investment seems to have paid off, with US launch this year, and approval in the EU expected in 2005. In fact 2003 looks to be going well for Genentech, with strong phase III data for Avastin being reported and a flurry of new product launches, including Raptiva for psoriasis expected in the second half of this year.

In summary, it can be concluded that, following the lengthy and significant investor negativity that has surrounded the biotech industry recently, investor interest in biotech is beginning to be re-ignited. If current marketed products can mirror the strong growth seen in the first quarter of this year, and successful launches occur, the future certainly is looking much more promising.

Acara’s Top Ten Aesthetic Practice & MedSpa Business Tips for 2010

Acara’s Top Ten Aesthetic Practice & MedSpa Business Tips for 2010

Acara, a leading US Aesthetic Medical Practice & Medspa consulting firm announced today its Top Ten Aesthetic Practice & MedSpa Business Tips for 2010. These business tips are representative of the most successful business tactics implemented by Acara in 2009.

Branford, CT (Vocus) January 14, 2010

To jumpstart 2010 the Acara team of Aesthetic Practice and Medspa business experts (http://www. acaramedspas. com/team. html) analyzed the collection of business tactics they recommended to their clients in 2009. The goal of the exercise was to identify which tactics achieved the greatest impact on client revenue and profits.

“It was a very successful year for the Acara team.” states Francis X. Acunzo, Acara CEO & Founder. “Many of our clients including dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and medical spas experienced strong increases in their sales and profits.” he goes on to say, “This top ten list of business tips represents the tactics that had the most impact in the shortest amount of time.”

Top Ten Aesthetic Practice & Medspa Business Tips for 2010

1. Follow-up – Follow-up – Follow-up

Your team needs to consistently follow-up with leads, unclosed consults & existing clients. Top aesthetic practices are very good at managing their sales pipeline.

2. Stick to the Plan!

Develop and implement a bi-monthly marketing plan with a budget. Be disciplined with this business practice, without a plan you will not achieve your sales goals.

3. Capture All Leads

Your reception team needs to document the name, phone number and e-mail address of each individual that calls interested in your services (a lead). In addition, every lead needs to be asked, “How did you hear about us?” and the information diligently documented.

4. Set Goals

Establish yearly and monthly sales & operating goals and track them through your monthly financial statements with budget comparisons.

5. Hold Monthly Events

Hold a monthly educational seminar open to the public (this is not a party it is a selling activity) either at your location or, if you expect a crowd, off-site.

6. Maximize Your Website

Search Engine Optimize (SEO) your Website and insure it has a lead capture form, phone number on every page, customer testimonials and before & after images

7. Staff to Market Demand

Staff your business according to customer demand specifically on the best days of the week and times of day.

8. Distribute Online SEO Optimized Press Releases

Once per month write, search engine optimize and distribute an Online Press Release that includes logo image, before & after photos and video tied back to your YouTube account.

9. Market with R&R

Implement a repeat & referral program, eventually it will help reduce your monthly marketing spend.

10. Prioritize Your Business Decisions

Ask yourself the following question prior to spending time or money on any new business initiative, tactic, medical procedure, technology, program, etc. “Will this make money for the practice and increase customer satisfaction?” If you answer yes to both parts of this question, then make it a high priority. If you answer yes to only one part of this question, then make it a lower priority. If you answer no to this question, then stop and do not allocate any company resources.

Acara Client Testimonials:

“Acara does outstanding work in all areas of their field. They are true professionals, very creative and deliver top quality results. We have worked with them for over 10 years and will continue to do so in the future. I recommend them very highly.

--Bruce E. Katz, M. D., Medical Director Juva Skin & Laser Center

"When we initially brought Acara on board to get us into the medical spa mainstream, we had a hard time justifying the investment at that time due to our limited startup capital. While I did see the immediate value back then of what Acara built for us, I see the value of our investment even more now that the industry is in financial uncertainty. Because we built a solid relationship with an industry mentor like Acara, and a workable business and marketing platform to begin with, it has allowed us to survive and flourish when others in our area have not.“

-- Paula Young RN, Co-owner, Young Medical Spa

"Acara was instrumental in helping us shape the foundation of our Medical Spa business. Their expertise in employee relations, sales, and MedSpa financial forecasting, has helped Amari see rapid growth."

-- S. J. Shah, Medspa Director of Operations, Amari MedSpa

"Have I told you lately how wonderful you are to work with? I’m well aware of all you have done for us, how patient you have been, and how professional you have remained. It speaks volumes of your integrity and own personal values, and we are all enriched by the privilege of working with you. From a personal standpoint, you and your team are my heroes. Thank you so very much!"

-- Rita DelVecchio, Administrator, Amomi MedSpa

“We are thrilled with the success of our event. Once again, Acara has proven that a Medical Spa can succeed even in our challenging economy.”

-- Robert T., MD, Owner & Medical Director, West Coast MedSpa

“It has been essential for us to change the way we do business with greater competition and the change in the economy. We couldn’t have accomplished this type of increase in business without Acara’s recommendation to incorporate laser lipolysis events into our marketing.”

-- Mrs. Sona H., Owner, East Coast Medical Spa

Join us online January 26th at 1:00 p. m. EST as Francis X. Acunzo presents Acara’s Top Ten Aesthetic Practice & MedSpa Business Tips for 2010 (http://spabusinessmd. com/events/) during a live Webinar. Bringing Learning to Life: State-of-the-Art Simulation Center Opens at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center

Bringing Learning to Life: State-of-the-Art Simulation Center Opens at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center

With more than 24,000 square feet of space, The F. Marie Hall SimLife Center at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center allows students from all disciplines to acquire a variety of skills through multi-modality instruction. The center prepares students for a career in health care without the risk of injuring patients.

Lubbock, TX (PRWEB) September 10, 2010

Tedd L. Mitchell, M. D. (http://www. ttuhsc. edu/president/bio. aspx), president of the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (http://www. ttuhsc. edu/) (TTUHSC) today announced the grand opening of The F. Marie Hall SimLife Center (http://www. ttuhsc. edu/simlife/), 3601 4th St., first floor Room 1C425.

The SimLife Center has been named a Laerdal Center of Educational Excellence. Laerdal is one of the leading providers of emergency and patient care solutions in the world. The Center of Education Excellence designation is awarded to centers that have consistently demonstrated excellence in educational philosophy and programs for the purpose of helping save lives.

Clinical simulation laboratories like the SimLife Center, allow students to acquire the full range of skills needed for nursing, medicine and other health care professions, ranging from drawing blood to delivering babies — all without the risk of injuring patients.

Mannequins in the high-tech simulation center include Noelle, a “woman” who gives birth, and Harvey, a “man” who offers opportunities for students to learn about cardiovascular diseases such as heart murmurs and aortic dissections.

Mitchell said the new simulation center would not only be used by students from all disciplines, but by faculty and health care professionals in the community as well. He said the center is an excellent location to host continuing education courses that will increase communication among different health care fields.

“This is not just something we’ll use for students,” Mitchell said. “We’ll use it for faculty members as well. You could also take this and utilize this for continuing education for nurses and physicians that are in the community.”

Mitchell added, “Part of our mission educationally is to make sure we have as much interdisciplinary teamwork as we can, and this is a great tool for doing that.”

In 2009, longtime Texas Tech supporter Ms. Marie Hall gave a major gift allocated to establishment of The F. Marie Hall SimLife Center, an educational clinical laboratory that promotes safe, quality patient care through innovative simulation technologies.

The more than 24,000-square-foot facility is open to students from all schools at TTUHSC and features multi-modality simulation instruction areas including primary and acute care, a standardized patient program, simulation using advanced patient simulators and haptic devices, and 3D visualization.

Tejas Ozarkar, a student in the TTUHSC School of Medicine (http://www. ttuhsc. edu/som), said he believes working in an interdisciplinary center with a variety of simulation modalities will put him ahead of medical students at other universities.

“I really think that I’m going to be so ahead of my colleagues in the future because I will not only will have been able to interact with these advanced simulation dummies, but I also will have been able to interact with the other health care professionals,” Ozarkar said.

Elizabeth Tompkins, a student in the TTUHSC School of Nursing (http://www. ttuhsc. edu/son), said she looks forward to working with other disciplines in the simulation center for the opportunity to learn as a group.

“I believe students understand that working together as a team and learning each other’s roles and realms of practice improves patient outcomes,” Tompkins said.

Sharon Decker, Ph. D., R. N. (http://www. ttuhsc. edu/son/faculty/Details. aspx? id=17), director of The F. Marie Hall SimLife Center and Covenant Health System Endowed Chair in Simulation and Nursing Education, said the facility provides a unique environment in which students of the health sciences can develop both discipline specific competencies and skills mandatory for interprofessional collaboration, communication and teamwork.

“Learning in a simulated environment allows students to make mistakes without the need for intervention by faculty to prevent patient harm,” Decker said. “Research has demonstrated that simulation provides an effective method of teaching while promoting learner satisfaction and self-competence.”

Weight-Loss Effort Proving to be a Winning ACE

Weight-Loss Effort Proving to be a Winning ACE

AMS Health Sciences, Inc./Saba announced today that Natural A. C.E., their new weight-loss product launched on July 24, 2009, is proving to be a "Winning Ace" for the company. When combined with their lead product Saba, it is providing a responsible approach for those wanting to lose unwanted pounds.

Oklahoma City, OK (PRWEB) August 26, 2009

AMS Health Sciences, Inc./Saba announced today that Natural A. C.E., their new weight-loss product launched on July 24, 2009, is proving to be a "Winning Ace" for the company. When combined with their lead product Saba, it is providing a responsible approach for those wanting to lose unwanted pounds.

Coined the "1-2 Punch" by CEO and President Gary Hail, this healthy combination is attracting attention across the country. "The 1-2 Punch begins with Saba, a nutritional drink loaded with adaptogens and antioxidants, followed with the effectiveness of Natural A. C.E. appetite control and energy formula. The combination 1-2 Punch is delivering an explosive but nutritional alternative to losing weight and becoming healthy. Saba provides the nutrition that so many are lacking and Natural A. C.E., with its appetite control, can help reduce caloric intake, thus resulting in desired weight-loss," he said.

Natural A. C.E. is a combination of naturally sourced herbs including green tea extract, cocoa, and the ever popular spirulina. Natural A. C.E. allows you to control your appetite, not your appetite control you. "After the first one, I wasn't hungry… I'm now leaving food on my plate when I am through eating," said Melissa Grover. "Anyone that knows me knows that I love to eat. I took A. C.E. on Friday morning before we went and played golf. I did not get hungry all day," said Steve Back. This is just a few of the dozen of rave reviews the company has seen in the past few weeks.

The company wouldn't bring the product to market unless they were convinced that the product was safe and effective. "Up until discovering A. C.E., weight-loss efforts had been more than difficult for me - more like impossible. After taking Natural A. C.E. for ten weeks, I have lost 30 pounds," said Hail. "This is a double win for me - my weight is down and our sales are through the roof! With just one week of A. C.E. sales in July, our sales increased ten percent over June."

AMS Health Sciences, Inc./Saba offers a low-entry, high-return opportunity that is gaining momentum due to the 1-2 punch of Saba and Natural A. C.E.

MyFax Introduces Fall '07 Update Including Security, Mobility and Productivity Benefits: Internet fax service adds several innovative offerings based on customer experience program feedback

MyFax Introduces Fall '07 Update Including Security, Mobility and Productivity Benefits: Internet fax service adds several innovative offerings based on customer experience program feedback

MyFax(TM), one of the leading business Internet fax services, today announced the release of its Fall '07 update, which includes several new features that provide customers with additional productivity and security tools. The latest series of advancements offered by the award-winning Internet faxing solution are based on feedback from MyFax customers representing businesses of every size.

OTTAWA (PRWEB) November 7, 2007

The latest innovations offer simplified functionality for the user - whether it's previewing, reviewing, resending or forwarding a fax. Additional account personalization and security measures are also available to all MyFax users, as are refined tools designed to filter unwanted faxes.

Larry Hearn, owner of My Handyman in Tempe, AZ and veteran user of MyFax, was among the customers who provided insight to this new release of MyFax. He suggested the new resend button. "When customers say they haven't received a bill that I've faxed or have lost it, all I want to do is hit resend. That way I can concentrate on my property maintenance business, and not have to manually re-send an invoice.

"I've used different Internet fax services," added Hearn, "but I appreciate the fact that they actually developed a feature based on my personal feedback. This will save me time and money. It says a lot about the kind of support they offer, whether it's personal assistance on a billing or technical question or on program enhancements."

Customer input was also provided by many mobile MyFax users, particularly those working in industries that require a lot of telecommuting like real estate, sales and construction. MyFax, while already supporting handheld devices like Blackberry(TM) or Palm(R) Treo(TM), now enables users to receive text notifications about the delivery of faxes to their cell phones.

"While other companies claim they have their customers' best interests in mind this is something we practice every day," said Joseph Nour, CEO of Protus IP Solutions, the provider of MyFax. Upshot Kicks Off Summer Fitness Challenge

Upshot Kicks Off Summer Fitness Challenge

Upshot, a Chicago-based marketing agency, kicked off a three-month employee fitness challenge—dubbed Tour de Fit—to get Upshotters moving both inside and outside the office this summer.

Chicago, IL (Vocus) July 1, 2010

Upshot, a Chicago-based marketing agency, kicked off a three-month employee fitness challenge—dubbed Tour de Fit—to get Upshotters moving both inside and outside the office this summer. Tour de Fit participants track hours of physical activity and the number of steps they take each day with pedometers donated by Omron Healthcare (a client of Upshot’s).

Upshotters embraced Tour de Fit with an 85% participation rate ranging from super-motivated gym rats to not-so-motivated-but-know-they-should-be employees. Before the competition launched, 14 teams were divvied up and began brainstorming names showcasing Upshot’s culture at its best. Sole Train, Blood Sweat & Beers and Gluteus Maximus were a few that made the cut. Not a detail was missed; a website lets participants log time and steps, tracks the teams’ progress and naturally instigates positive heckling between competitors. Throughout the competition, unannounced prizes will be awarded to keep people on their toes, and at the end of the three-month challenge each member of the winning team will receive three extra vacation days.

Upshot’s Tour de Fit challenge is part of a bigger wellness initiative to keep employees happy and healthy all year long. During the first week of the competition, employees were eligible for on-site (and free!) biometric screening. Upshotters also benefit from weekly yoga classes as well as chiropractic and massage workshops to keep them motivated and on track.

“This component of our wellness program taps into the competitive nature that is inherent in our people,” commented Upshot President & CEO Brian Kristofek while checking his own pedometer.

Infrared Sauna Therapy Saves Ground Zero Heroines/Heroes Suffering From 9/11 Related Skin Rashes and Illnesses

Infrared Sauna Therapy Saves Ground Zero Heroines/Heroes Suffering From 9/11 Related Skin Rashes and Illnesses

A study released by the Olive Leaf Wholeness Center on March 21, 2006 linked 160 persons' abnormally high incidence of respiratory and digestive problems, insomnia, skin rashes, depression, weight gain, lethargy, recurring headaches, and elevated blood pressure to heavy metal toxicity -- excessive levels of lead and mercury -- as well as the 1000 tons of asbestos, 130,000 gallons of oil, 10,000 gallons of jet fuel, and airborne cancer-causing dioxins dumped on lower Manhattan by the malicious terrorist attack. Following successful primary treatment utilizing sulfur compound DSMA, infrared therapy was an adjunctive therapy utilized to transport heavy metals from survivors’ tissues and more specifically, to reduce their related skin rashes.

New York, NY (PRWEB) June 28, 2006

On March 21, 2006, Olive Leaf Wholeness Center, in conjunction with the Red Cross Disaster Recovery Fund, released the results of its demonstration project, Project Olive Releaf, in which 160 subjects, including lower Manhattan residents, police, firefighters and other Ground Zero first responders were successfully treated for chronic illnesses caused by the severe environmental catastrophe caused by the terrorist attack on the Twin Towers. Infrared sauna therapy was an effective secondary therapy useful in reducing skin rashes and toxicity.

In humid temperatures -- caused by fires that burned for months -- many first responders wore short sleeved shirts that exposed their upper body skin to the atmosphere. They climbed mounds of superheated wreckage saturated with chemicals that made their feet wet. Personnel labored here for several months until being replaced by other workers who stayed on through May 2002.

These heroes, as well as ordinary residents returning home, were subjected to benign yet extremely lethal substances. Project Olive ReLeaf determined that the Towers’ collapse and 1000+ degree fires combined to release into the atmosphere over 2400 chemicals including:

1.) 200,000 – 400,000 pounds of lead from computers and other equipment

2.) Mercury vaporized from 500,000 light bulbs

3.) Excessive dioxins created by the combustion of plastics with copper

4.) 130,000 gallons of oil and transformer insulating fluid

5.) 400 – 1000 tons of asbestos primarily from office building structures

6.) 10,000 gallons of jet fuel from the two planes

While media and caselaw have made the public familiar with the long-term lethal and cancerous effects of exposure to lead, dioxins and asbestos, scientific literature clearly establishes that exposure to mercury causes significant neurological damage. One attorney representing over 5000 police officers, firefighters, construction workers and sanitation workers in a class action lawsuit asserts that twenty one class members have died from 9/11 related illnesses since 2004.

Based on subjects’ reports of increased airway disease, acid reflux, skin rashes, endocrine disruption, and neuropsychiatric complaints doctors suspected exposure to lead, dioxins and mercury. Eighty five percent of the subjects’ urine tests indicated high concentrations of lead and mercury. Applying chelation treatment using DSMA, an FDA approved sulfur compound, doctors were able to report 60% improvement in the first 100 subjects.

Infrared sauna therapy was one of several of secondary treatments (in addition to acupuncture, IV vitamin and mineral supplementation, sound healing) applied to restore subjects’ immune systems and facilitate detoxification. Infrared sauna therapy and detox wraps transferred mercury, lead, and other heavy metals from of the subjects’ bodies, and in the process dramatically reduced chronic skin rashes many survivors had been experienced for more than four years.

Sauna, massage, detox clay, herbal body wraps and sound healing were also part of an integrated holistic and health care “healing touch” spa session enabling survivors to reduce their post traumatic stress and better experience their healing process.

Thanks to the Olive Releaf Wholeness Center and to one hundred sixty survivors of this environmental catastrophe, centuries of sauna detoxification claims were demonstrated to be more fact than myth. SaunaDream urges you to order an infrared sauna today and be a hero in your home.

New Website Launched with Aim to Help Insurance Agents Grow their Business

New Website Launched with Aim to Help Insurance Agents Grow their Business

Recently launched InsuranceAgents. com, formerly InsuranceLeadz. com, offers high quality leads and innovative services to help agents grow their business.

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) May 14, 2009

InsuranceAgents. com, formerly InsuranceLeadz. com, is the recently rebranded website that is owned and operated by Cyber Technology, LLC. The website will continue to provide agents with the highest quality insurance leads (http://www. insuranceagents. com/leads/) but the new site will also offer a host of new services that are aimed to help agents grow their business.

The new services include an online community (http://www. insuranceagents. com/leads/agents_community. php), agent directory and live transfer phone leads (http://www. insuranceagents. com/leads/agents_livetransfer. php). The online community connects agents nationwide to discuss industry topics and trends. The agent directory allows agents to create personalized pages with biographies and photographs so customers can reach them directly. With live transfer phone leads, agents are connected instantly with potential clients looking for quotes.

"By using the best technology and producing the highest quality leads to our agents, our company has experienced great success," said Seth Kravitz, CEO of Cyber Technology. "Now we are pleased to be able to pass this innovative technology on to our agents so they can enjoy the same levels of growth."

Launching InsuranceAgents. com (http://www. insuranceagents. com/) marks another major milestone in the company's rapid growth. In 2004, Cyber Technology began with three employees in the basement of an insurance broker, Lev Barinskiy, who is now president of the company. In 2007, one of the company's premier websites, InsuranceLeadz. com, was started as a reaction to the overwhelming amount of websites generating bulk leads.

InsuranceLeadz. com carved itself a niche by focusing on the quality of leads rather than just quantity. With a strict, state-of-the-art, lead verification process and the most lenient lead return policy in the industry, agents can count on high returns on their investment. This emphasis on setting up agents for success has added to the company growth, allowing them to launch their latest website, InsuranceAgents. com.

"The launch of InsuranceAgents. com not only represents a new name for InsuranceLeadz. com, but a completely new direction for the company," said Kravitz. "It's a new way of looking at insurance marketing. We are excited about the growth this approach will prompt going forward."

About Cyber Technology and InsuranceAgents. com

Established in 2004, Cyber Technology, LLC owns and operates various websites and employs over 30 people with offices in Chicago, Illinois and Columbus, Ohio. Specializing in auto, life, health, home, renters, and annuity leads, InsuranceAgents. com produces the highest converting leads in the industry for agents across the country. The site also provides agents with resources to grow their business such as an online community, agent directory and live transfer phone leads.

Cystic Fibrosis Worldwide Invited to Join Guinness Book of World Records' Million Artists Project

Cystic Fibrosis Worldwide Invited to Join Guinness Book of World Records' Million Artists Project

Cystic Fibrosis Worldwide (CFW) has been invited to join Million Artists, an international fund-raising project for medical charities. The website aims to break the Guinness Book of World Records’ largest piece of collaborative abstract art record while collecting donations for non-profits.

TORONTO, CANADA (PRWEB) October 7, 2006

Cystic Fibrosis Worldwide (CFW) has been invited to join Million Artists, an international fund-raising project for medical charities. The website aims to break the Guinness Book of World Records’ largest piece of collaborative abstract art record while collecting donations for non-profits. Each donor selects a pixel of color to become part of a huge abstract “painting.”

CFW is an international, nonprofit organization working to promote access to appropriate care and education to people affected by cystic fibrosis. Their work in developing countries focuses on improving knowledge between medical professionals and governments and strengthening cystic fibrosis care and associations. Their global partners include the World Health Organization and more than fifty member countries. Please visit them online at http: //www. cfww. org

Computer programmers Eugene Pik and Anthony Barker created the technology that allows an image to be created from the random pixels. Users go to the website, make a donation through Paypal, and chooses the color of their pixel. The computer randomly assigns the pixel a location, and an image is slowly created.

The current world record, set by Jim Campbell in 1998, used 25,297 people to paint a picture. “I wanted to use Internet and computer technology to invite a million artists to break that record,” Pik said.

The site is translated in 25+ languages, making it easy for anyone to become a part of the project. Many of the donors are artists themselves who wanted to support the project. A randomly selected list displays donors and links to their homepages. Money collected is sent to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Tim Seaward, an artist-donor from Great Britain, commented that: “I will place a link on my index page, and because I am a member of a local Arts Group, I shall share the news with them... and tell anyone else I can! This is going to be amazing!!”

To find out more about this exciting project, please visit http://www. millionartists. com (http://www. millionartists. com) or http://www. cfww. org (http://www. cfww. org)

The Harley Medical Group Reveals Nip and Tuck Boom

The Harley Medical Group Reveals Nip and Tuck Boom

The Harley Medical Group, UKs largest cosmetic surgery group, reports rise in tummy tuck ops for weight loss patients

(PRWEB) November 19, 2008

The Harley Medical Group, the UK's largest cosmetic surgery provider, has seen a dramatic five year rise in patients undergoing body corrective surgery to cope with the after effects of extreme post obesity weight loss. Dubbed "Post Obesity Surgery" (POS), various surgical procedures such as tummy tucks (abdominoplasty), male breast reduction (gynaecomastia) and breast uplift (mastopexy) are booming as patients book in for body corrective surgery to treat their post obesity bodies.

Data taken over the past five years from The Harley Medical Group, which has conducted more than 10,000 POS procedures over this period, shows that tummy tucks (http://www. harleymedical. co. uk/cosmetic-surgery-for-women/the-body/tummy-tuck--abdominoplasty/ (http://www. harleymedical. co. uk/cosmetic-surgery-for-women/the-body/tummy-tuck--abdominoplasty/)) are up 31%, male breast reductions are up 24% and female breast uplifts are up 18%.

Mr Frati, a surgeon at The Harley Medical Group, cites the UK's obesity epidemic as the cause for this boom. With 21% of men and 22% of women in the UK being classed as clinically obese, which is predicted to rise to a quarter of all adults in 2010*, The Harley Medical Group estimates the abdominoplasty procedure alone will overtake breast augmentation (http://www. harleymedical. co. uk/cosmetic-surgery-for-women/breast-surgery/breast-enlargement-implants-and-augmentation/ (http://www. harleymedical. co. uk/cosmetic-surgery-for-women/breast-surgery/breast-enlargement-implants-and-augmentation/)) as the clinic's most popular treatment over the next ten years.

A patient of The Harley Medical Group patient, John Wright from Lincolnshire, who had a tummy tuck operation plus gynaecomastia (male breast reduction (http://www. harleymedical. co. uk/cosmetic-surgery-for-men/the-body/male-chest-reduction/ (http://www. harleymedical. co. uk/cosmetic-surgery-for-men/the-body/male-chest-reduction/))) after he lost 22 stone commented: "After the immense effort and hard work of loosing so much weight it was utterly soul destroying to see vast folds of skin hanging from my body. My local GP wouldn't refer me to have cosmetic surgery (http://www. harleymedical. co. uk/ (http://www. harleymedical. co. uk/)) on the NHS and so I was forced to go private. I used almost £10,000 of my savings, but I think it was worth every penny."

Lisa Littlehales, head nurse at The Harley Medical Group (http://www. harleymedical. co. uk/our-clinics/ (http://www. harleymedical. co. uk/our-clinics/)), explained: "It's heartbreaking to see patients who have achieved so much to lose dramatic amounts of weight so embarrassed by their post weight loss bodies. Surgery is able to transform both their bodies which have been so vastly overstretched and in the process restore their confidence."

She added: "Many patients describe how they wish they had addressed the problem before they became obese, but talk of the creeping nature of obesity - slowly moving from being simply over weight to clinically obese over a ten year period. Many feel let down by healthcare professionals and feel strongly that the government's focus on educating the public on healthy eating and exercise routines is long overdue and also needs far greater focus and outreach work."

*Department of Health's "Forecasting Obesity to 2010" report

About The Harley Medical Group:

The Harley Medical Group is the UK's largest cosmetic surgery provider, performing more procedures and with more clinics than any other cosmetic surgery provider. It has been established for more than 25 years and is one of the most highly regarded cosmetic surgery groups operating in the UK. It has conducted more than 400,000 procedures to date.

The Harley Medical Group has always worked tirelessly to maintain the highest standards in the industry for the benefits of all cosmetic surgery and non surgical patients. We are currently at the forefront of the campaign to ensure that the government continues to regulate the use of all lasers and Impulsed Light Machines (IPL) used in cosmetic surgery and non surgical treatments so that patients are protected from permanent damage by unregistered beauty salons and practitioners illegally using Lasers and IPL machines.

And those demonstrations are often performed by our rugged “I’ll try anything” host, former Navy Fighter Pilot Hunter Ellis. Hunter’s involvement in the stories makes them come alive on screen.

Universal Background Screening Introduces Enhanced Nationwide Sex Offender Search at Society for Human Resource Management Conference

Universal Background Screening Introduces Enhanced Nationwide Sex Offender Search at Society for Human Resource Management Conference

Universal Background Screening today introduced its latest product designed to help employers reduce risk and improve workplace safety in conjunction with the Society for Human Resource Management’s Employment Management Association Conference and Exposition. The company’s USA OffenderSearch™ is a compilation of sex offender registration data from all fifty states plus the District of Columbia. USA OffenderSearch further distinguishes itself from other commercial sex offender databases or individual state registries available to the public by offering historical registrations that may no longer exist on public lists.

Phoenix, AZ; San Diego, CA (PRWEB) March 30, 2006

Universal Background Screening today introduced its latest product designed to help employers reduce risk and improve workplace safety in conjunction with the Society for Human Resource Management’s Employment Management Association Conference and Exposition. The company’s USA OffenderSearch™ is a compilation of sex offender registration data from all fifty states plus the District of Columbia. USA OffenderSearch further distinguishes itself from other commercial sex offender databases or individual state registries available to the public by offering historical registrations that may no longer exist on public lists for a variety of reasons. In addition, USA OffenderSearch includes offender photos when available.

The value of USA OffenderSearch can be illustrated in the following example: A man was convicted of sex crimes in the state of California in 1995 and registered as a sex offender in that state. A few years later, he notified the State of California that he was moving out of state, so he was removed from the California Registry. He then moved to New Mexico, where he failed to register with his new state of residence as required by law.

A few years later, he moved to Arizona where he applied to work for a client of Universal. At this point, the man was not listed on any state sex offender registries. Since his conviction was in California and it occurred ten years prior, his record was not available for an employment background check under California law. Since the prospective employer is a client of Universal Background Screening and requests a USA OffenderSearch for each applicant as a part of their background screening package, the man’s prior status as a registered California Sex Offender was quickly identified, even though current registries in all three states showed no record of this individual.

“Universal Background Screening’s USA OffenderSearch is a low-cost, high-value service that provides an additional level of due diligence for our clients’ background screening programs,” said Kevin Olson, chairman and CEO of Universal Background Screening. “This service is particularly important for employers in the healthcare, education and home service fields, or for any position that puts an employee in an unsupervised situation with customers or other employees.”

USA OffenderSearch is fully compliant with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). All possible matches are researched and reviewed by Universal’s Compliance Department to assure accuracy and compliance with both Federal and applicable state laws before reporting to employers.

Standard pricing for the instant USA OffenderSearch is $6.00 per name searched. Universal offers a bulk screening program that allows employers to check all current employees or to re-screen existing employees. USA OffenderSearch is also available through the company’s website on a retail basis to the general public for personal background checks when used for non-FCRA regulated purposes.

The Society for Human Resource Management’s 37th Annual Employment Management Association Conference and Exposition is located at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego. The expo is open through Friday, March 31st. Universal Background Screening is located in booth 100/102.

Weak Dollar Has European Shoppers Flocking To Americans, for Deals on European Products

Weak Dollar Has European Shoppers Flocking To Americans, for Deals on European Products

While a declining dollar has contributed to the one of the worst US economies in history, some are thriving. Seth Grossman, Owner of one of most popular online Luxury Watch sites, explains how the decrease of the dollar is responsible for the biggest increase in International Exports he's seen in years

Beverly Hills, CA (PRWEB) December 1, 2009

Now that the euro is so much stronger than the dollar, it's no surprise that online retailers are seeing an enormous boost in sales to Europe. What is interesting, however, is the type of items that Europeans are buying off US websites.

According to Seth Grossman, owner of world famous luxury watch website, Essential-Watches. com (http://essential-watches. com), these European shoppers are actually buying European products.

"We're seeing a large influx of orders and requests from Europe, more often than not, for watches that originated in the country the enquiry or order is coming from," Grossman says, "While the weak economy here is causing both small businesses and large corporations to close overnight, the same weak US dollar is definitely responsible for why Essential Watches is still around and doing so well".

Five years ago when Grossman, a 15 yr veteran of The Luxury Watch Industry launched Essential Watches (http://essential-watches. com) online, he knew there would be risks:

"After 9/11 and two American Lead Military conflicts, we knew there'd be ups and downs, because Internet retail relies as much on International Sales as it does on Domestic. I prepared the company as well as I could, stocked only great product, secured knowledgeable and honest sales people, and compiled a database of every contact I’d ever made, to ensure we could always offer the lowest prices on the web.”

Like many, Grossman’s business slowed down as the economy slowly weakened, but not to the point of panic. Having only hired the minimal staff his website called for, and continuing to work night and day himself, Essential Watches (http://essential-watches. com) managed to stay alive, and even grow.

“The last two years have been crazy, Grossman says. “At first, when small and family owned businesses were closing around us, we were more than content to stay stable, in the black. Then came the growth. Internet Sales started growing, really increasing...and we were pleased, don’t get me wrong, but we were also very surprised. Not so surprised that our sales were climbing, - The Internet has a mind of its own, but more surprised about who was buying the watches."

He continues: “Ok, we all know that the manufacture of High-End Watches is one area where European products have always, and still remain the best. Rolex, Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe, Hublot (http://www. essential-watches. com/index. aspx#brands)…Luxury Timepieces made in Europe are still truly the ‘crème de la crème’, - World Class."

"As lifestyle tools, fashion statements or solely for investments purposes, European brands are really still the only major players in the global Luxury Watch market. And with the U. S. dollar at record lows, apparently overall export sales are healthier than ever, which is great! We just never expected that European shoppers would come to us to buy their own products.”

It's been well reported that many US companies have declared that sliding interest rates, the mortgage slump and the economic slowdown have been the savior of their business via the increase in international exports. But most companies reporting this have been in the vehicle and industrial worlds, and they’ve been exporting American products

This new concept of Europeans surfing a Beverly Hills based (http://essential-watches. com/contact. aspx) and American-owned European Watch Discounter, to score a deal on a Swiss or German Luxury Watch is way beyond even the most optimistic of expectations.

Grossman comments: “It's almost like a cartoon you’d read in 'The New Yorker', we're selling Rolex Watches back to The Swiss, sending Hublot Watches to Italy, and any IWC piece ordered, you can bet is on it's way back to Germany”.

And like his customers, it's pretty clear he's not complaining.

Thanks to a New Stem Cell Therapy, a 9-year Old Autistic Boy Talks to his Father for the First Time

Thanks to a New Stem Cell Therapy, a 9-year Old Autistic Boy Talks to his Father for the First Time

Autism in children has increased dramatically around the world since the 1980's and is now a major health concern with no known cure. The causes of autism are hotly debated, but a new stem cell treatment has begun to demonstrate significant results.

Athens, Greece (PRWEB) April 13, 2010

Following remarkable improvement in the condition of children who have received this stem cell treatment for autism (http://syndacast. com/go/AdistemAutism), a group of doctors in Greece are preparing a protocol for submission to the Ministry of Health for an official clinical trial on autism.

For over 50 years doctors have been safely using hematopoietic stem cells from bone marrow to treat blood disorders and compromised immune systems and more recently mesenchyme stem cells for repair of damaged and injured tissue. These same stem cells are found in abdominal fat in much larger numbers and can be removed with a mini-liposuction. A biotech company, AdiStem Ltd, has developed technology that can quickly and cheaply allow doctors to harvest the stem cells from the extracted fat and return the cells back to the patient in an activated form in a single setting. In the autistic children, their own stem cells were returned to them intravenously. This autologous procedure avoids rejection by the body and there are no ethical or regulatory issues.

The stem cell technology (http://syndacast. com/go/AdiStem) developed by AdiStem for the past 5 years has been used and trialed by doctors around the world for the treatment of type II diabetes and its complications, osteoarthritis, and cosmetic medicine. Physicians in Greece approached the company recently with the intent to treat Yannis, the son of Dr. Solomos, a cardiologist. Yannis, a 9 year old boy, had been diagnosed with autism but not responded to standard treatments.

An experienced doctor, the father, Dr Solomos, carefully reviewed the case studies of other children with Autism who had received the AdiStem stem cell treatment (http://syndacast. com/go/AdistemAutism) in Europe and Asia, and was convinced of its safety and potential for improving the condition of his son. With the help of experienced pediatric surgeons Yannis underwent an hour long mini-liposuction procedure at Kratiko Nikaias Hospital in Athens in which 200cc of abdominal fat was harvested. The fat was dissolved, the stem cells isolated and then activated, and over 100 million cells were returned to Yannis through a standard intravenous drip. Yannis was discharged on the same day.

Just one month later, his father was astonished to hear Yannis talking to him on the phone for the first time. Dr. Solomos explained: "my boy has simply not been able to speak to me on the phone before". Asked if he’d noticed any other changes, he replied: "His school tells me his attention has improved. We experience him nearer to us and he feels us. I see a change in his ability to connect with other children. He plays with them now, which he used to avoid. He has also become more interested in letters and numbers". (This interview with Dr. Solomos was recorded on video and can be viewed at "www. adistem. com/application/autism. htm" (http://syndacast. com/go/AdistemAutism)).

Present during the treatment, Dr. Koliakos, Associate Professor at Aristotle University and President of Hellenic Research Foundation Stem Cell Bank pointed out: "One month after the therapy Yannis has shown remarkable progress according to his father's observations. The child will be reevaluated by pediatric psychiatrists 3 months after the therapy to measure the extent of progress in his condition and to decide if the remainder of his stem cells, presently stored in liquid nitrogen, should be administered".

Dr. Kolaikos continued: "We're convinced about the safety of intravenous adipose stem cell therapy (http://syndacast. com/go/AdiStem) – if supported by accredited facilities – and our team has now applied for a large formal clinical trial on autism using AdiStem's stem cell protocol here in Greece".

Terry Grossman, M. D., stem cell researcher from Golden, Colorado said, "I was present to observe 9 year old Yannis undergo the stem cell procedure at the Kratiko Nikaias Hospital in Athens. Further studies are needed, but it is possible that stem cell therapy will soon be available as a powerful new tool to help children with autistic spectrum disorders (http://syndacast. com/go/AdistemAutism)."

About AdiStem

AdiStem is a biotechnology company that discovers, develops and provides leading hospitals and clinics with autologous adult adipose – derived stem cell products that address serious medical conditions and assist in cosmetic and plastic surgery procedures ("www. adistem. com" (http://syndacast. com/go/AdiStem)).

Stem cell treatment for autistic children, and full trials using AdiStem technology, will soon be performed in Bangkok, Thailand, Bogota, Columbia, as well as in Athens, Greece.

QHR Selects The HCP Group, Ltd. As Strategic Service Partner for Supply/Value Chain Savings

QHR’s Materiel Resource Group (“QMRG”), has developed a Strategic Value Management Program™ using value management analytical expertise and proprietary software developed by The HCP Group, Ltd. (“HCP”), of Skippack, PA. This program will provide QHR’s healthcare clients with supply chain savings “beyond price discounts” through better supply/value chain management utilizing the tools and techniques of value analysis. (PRWEB) August 7, 2003

Brentwood, TN (PRWEB) August, 2003 – QHR’s Materiel Resource Group (“QMRG”), has developed a Strategic Value Management Program™ using value management analytical expertise and proprietary software developed by The HCP Group, Ltd. (“HCP”), of Skippack, PA. This program will provide QHR’s healthcare clients with supply chain savings “beyond price discounts” through better supply/value chain management utilizing the tools and techniques of value analysis. Specifically, the program analyzes supply-value chain expenses and identifies savings opportunities in several supply/value chain management categories.

“HCP’s definition of value analysis is a function-oriented, systematic approach for investigating the right functions and lower cost alternatives for the millions of dollars of purchases made annually by a healthcare organization,” said Brian Hitchcock, Vice President of QMRG. “ The initial “no cost” analysis conducted by HCP looks at what the hospital is buying, how those products are currently utilized and how they can be better utilized.” The hospital can also use HCP’s value analysis software, which is designed to functionally analyze, plan, implement, measure and report on improvements in their supply/value chain management efforts.

“For example, a client may be buying five different classes of pacemakers from several manufacturers,” said Hitchcock. “HCP software provides templates that enable clients to identify all of the functional characteristics of their pacemakers. Clients can then work with its clinicians to purchase fewer classes of pacemakers yet still meet all clinical needs. And generate big savings for their hospital.”

As part of the supply chain solutions package offered through QMRG, HCP will also be offering hospital clients a menu of discounted assessments, training, facilitation and coaching services to enable them to move to the next level of savings -- beyond price -- once the initial “no cost – no obligation” assessment has been completed for their facility.”

HCP’s President, Robert T. Yokl, states that he is “very excited about this new strategic relationship with QMRG, since it enables QMRG’s clients to take advantage of HCP’s advanced tools, training and expertise in value analysis to lower their total cost by as much as 6% to 9% ‘beyond price’. In my opinion, this is the type of value-added service that the marketplace is looking for to control their supply/value chain expenses and I congratulate QMRG for being a trailblazer in this area of hospital operations.”

QHR provides management advisory services, implementation support, education and training programs, consulting and related services to independent hospitals and health systems. It serves over 300 hospitals across 43 states.

QMRG, QHRÂ’s Materiel Resource Group, offers supply chain solutions to the healthcare industry.

The HCP Group, Ltd, headquartered in Skippack, Pennsylvania, was founded in 1987 to teach healthcare organizations how to more successfully manage and control their supply/value chain cost. Over the last few years, HCP has saved $100 MILLION DOLLARS for hospitals, healthcare systems and integrated delivery networks with its Value-Based Solutions.

2008 NFL Draftee Names Mercy Ships as Charity of Choice

2008 NFL Draftee Names Mercy Ships as Charity of Choice

Former University of Oklahoma Wide Receiver Malcolm Kelly sets goal of making a difference.

Garden Valley, Texas (Vocus) January 31, 2008

Former University of Oklahoma wide receiver Malcolm Kelly recently announced his plans to enter the 2008 NFL draft. The 21-year-old, All Big12 Conference performer will begin his professional football career by publicly endorsing the global charity Mercy Ships at a press conference on February 5th during the charity’s International Board of Directors Meeting being held at the offices of Clifford Chance at 2001 K St NW, Washington, DC 20006 at 3:00pm EST.

Kelly finished high school in his native Longview, TX, and by this time his talent and love for the game of football had blossomed. The 6’4” speedster accepted a full scholarship to the University of Oklahoma as one of the nation’s top prospects at wide receiver. After only three years, Malcolm has developed into one of the top-rated wide receivers eligible for the 2008 NFL Draft.

True to his character and Christian upbringing, the first thing Malcolm has committed himself to do as a professional athlete is to leverage his role to make a difference in the lives of others. Mercy Ships connection with Africa and the proximity of the International Operations Center for Mercy Ships to his home area helped make the global charity a natural fit for the young African - American athlete.

Malcolm said, “I wanted this to be the first thing I did to begin my career as a professional athlete. I’m not even in the league yet, but I know how important it is to do the right things in the right way. Mercy Ships is all about that. They deliver free, life-changing medical assistance to people in Africa and third world countries that need help the most. As an African-American, I feel a connection there. I just hope that this first small step will help shed light and get the word out on what an incredible organization Mercy Ships is.”

Mercy Ships Chairman of the Board, Myron E. “Mike” Ullman III stated, “Malcolm’s achievements as an athlete are extraordinary and we are sure he will excel in the NFL. But it’s his maturity to recognize the potential for helping the poorest of the poor by supporting Mercy Ships in Africa that is most impressive. It makes a strong statement about his personal character and values as a young man.”

“Malcolm Kelly is already a local football hero in East Texas,” stated Mercy Ships CEO Sam Smith. “But for me he’s much more than a great player. His compassion and commitment to bring hope and healing to the world’s poor is extraordinary for someone his age.”

Mercy Ships Founder and President Don Stephens remarked, “As the first professional athlete to endorse Mercy Ships, we are inspired and feel a kindred spirit with Malcolm Kelly. It is an honor to have him among the ranks of the wonderful volunteer professional doctors, nurses, patrons, and crew who enable Mercy Ships to continue in its mission.”

Founded in 1978 by Don and Deyon Stephens, Mercy Ships is the leader in using hospital ships to deliver free world-class health care and community development services to the forgotten poor.

The Mercy Ships crew is made up of volunteer professionals from around the world. Doctors, dentists, nurses, community developers, teachers, cooks, seamen, engineers, and many others donate their time and skills to the effort. Since its inception in 1978, Mercy Ships has performed more than 1.5 million services, with a value of $600 million and has directly impacted more than 1.7 million people.

Statistics include treating more than 200,000 people in village medical clinics; performing more than 26,000 surgeries and 162,000 dental treatments; and completing more than 800 construction, agriculture, and water development projects. More than 1,000 career crew from over 40 nations are joined each year by thousands of short-term volunteers.

The Mercy Ships story is told in Ships of Mercy, published by Hodder & Stoughton UK and Thomas Nelson US. It is available online at: http://www. shipsofmercy. org (http://www. shipsofmercy. org).

School Can be an Allergy Minefield

School Can be an Allergy Minefield

Ontario's Bill 3 became law on January 1, 2006. This law requires all schools to have allergy plans in place which may include the banning of specific foods. Nonuttin' Granola Bars were created by the mother of a nut allergic child and may help many parents easily send an allergen friendly snack to school.

(PRWEB) January 6, 2006

Ontario’s Bill 3, which came into effect on January 1, 2006, makes Ontario school boards accountable for having an allergy plan in place in all schools. This plan may include the banning of certain foods such as peanuts and nuts, making it a challenge to send a child to school with snacks or lunch. Alana Elliott, president of Nonuttin’ Foods Inc., parent of an allergic child, and a former elementary teacher understands this challenge all too well.

It can be very difficult for the teacher to check all foods for certain allergens. “At every school I taught at, children went outside with their snacks for recess, making it impractical to check every product. And what about the home-made treats?” Elliott wonders.

When her youngest child was diagnosed with a life-threatening allergy to peanuts, she learned firsthand how important label reading was. Elliott was nervous when her daughter began school. This was compounded by the fact that many snacks she observed in her child’s nut free school contained peanuts, nuts or traces of these. While Elliott taught her child to not accept any food from other people, the cross contamination issue with nut laden foods was frightening.

The desire to help parents in a similar situation led Elliott to resign from teaching and begin Nonuttin’ Foods Inc. when her family moved to Vancouver Island in 2002. Since granola bars were one of the biggest offenders to the no nut policy, she developed recipes for granola bars that eliminated 8 out of 10 of the top food allergens. Health was also important so she made the bars free of trans fats and animal by-products, getting Kosher certification in April of 2005.

“What this means is that, as a parent, I know that I can send granola bars to school that are safe for most allergic children. From the teacher’s perspective, they don’t have to spend their time reading labels and worrying about their students’ health,” adds Elliott.

It will remain to be seen what the impact of Bill 3 will be on both Ontario schools and the rest of the provinces and states that are watching with interest. Elliott considers the move a positive one, “A plan in place for severely allergic children can only be a good thing. Whether that allergy is to food or insect stings, the adults who care for kids need to know how to react should a life-threatening incident ever arise.”

Scientist, Dr Staninger, Unlocks the Mystery of Morgellons Disease

Scientist, Dr Staninger, Unlocks the Mystery of Morgellons Disease

156 patients experience full recovery on the Staninger Detox Protocol using Far Infrared. FIR therapy is a major key for returning us back to our natural state as a vibrant and radiant beings.

Mesa, AZ (PRWEB) March 30, 2010

Dr Hildegarde Staninger (http://www. hildegarde-staninger. com) Ph. D., RIET-1, a Doctor of Integrative Medicine and an Industrial Toxicologist, has dedicated a quarter of a century to discovering the source and nature of hazardous materials within our environment. In 2006 she began the detailed analysis of a specimen collected from a patient diagnosed with Morgellons (http://www. healinggrapevine. com/morgellons. html).

After 3 months research, her evidence confirmed the specimen consisted of high-density polyethylene fibers that would not burn at 1,700 degrees F. These advanced nano materials are one billionth of the size of normal foreign invaders so they cannot be detected or removed by normal bio-transformation in the body.

Four years of research; analyzing fibers, specimens, and treating her patients, has led to the development of the Staninger Detox Protocol. Today 156 of her patients with Advanced Nano Materials Syndrome (Morgellons) have experienced a full recovery.

At the heart of her proprietary protocol is Far Infrared Radiant Heat Therapy. Well before her studies of Morgellons began, Dr. Staninger had already determined the therapeutic benefits of using far infrared as a means for stimulating cellular release of toxins and rejuvenation. Since discovering Far Infrared Therapy she has analyzed 72 different manufacturer’s products. The comparative testing was done under contract with the University of Central Florida, Orlando, FL CREOL Lab under the direction of professor, Dr. Alforns Schulte.

“MPS Global Inc is the only Far Infrared (http://products. healinggrapevine. com/far-infrared. html) manufacturer I endorse” says Dr. Staninger. “They are Raman certified and recognized by I. E.I. A. (International Environmental Intelligence Agency). MPS proprietary technology facilitates the creation of K-bonds with the application of its Far Infrared Radiant Heat Technology. It is the K-bond that produces the correct harmonic frequency allowing the cells to create a quickening known as a 'cosmic cellular burst' which gives the cell life energy. This is the same frequency of the Universal Ohm which is the base line of creation. Using Far infrared activates our ability to remember our perfect-ness."

One group of health enthusiasts, inspired by their own full recovery through the Staninger Detox Protocol, recognized a need to publish Dr. Staninger’s work in layman terms for the thousands of Morgellons sufferers desperately seeking answers. This vision has come to fruition through the launch of Dr. Staninger’s new online outpatient center at Healing Grapevine. A team of health professionals are now working directly with Dr. Staninger to create “Recover Now”, a simplified version of her 100% non toxic, GMO-free and Nano-free detox and regeneration program.

This path to recovery begins with a simple but extremely powerful 10 day Introductory Detox Kit.

A study done on 20 subjects using this kit revealed:

All individuals experienced 100% reduction in advanced nano materials. All individuals experienced the release of childhood toxins from 20-30 years ago. All individuals experienced the release of toxins from their systemic organs.

“My Detox Protocol is so effective at removing toxic chemicals, nano materials, and accelerating cell regeneration that I believe this protocol is not only the answer to Morgellons but is also the healing foundation that can empower our bodies to recover from any health condition.” Dr. Hildegarde Staninger is truly a pioneer for the entire medical community. Her mission has always been and will continue to be the science research necessary to keep us safe as we navigate and move forward into the world of Bio-Nanotechnology and beyond.
